The 13th Annual 5 K Walk/Run for the Health of It is an annual fundraiser to benefit health initiatives - education, and charitable community projects. This year's focus will be breast cancer awareness, HIV/AIDS prevention, and sickle cell education, research, and treatment programs. This annual grassroots event is sponsored by The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County, Inc. * a 501[c] 3 non-profit organization, the philanthropic arm of Iota Gamma Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc..
